John Anderson is the chief investment officer of the multi-strategy at Capula having joined the firm in February 2025. He is responsible for the oversight and management of the firm’s multi-strategy product and he is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to Capula, John was at Millennium Management from 2015 to 2024, and most latterly he was global co-head of global fixed income and commodities and was responsible for the oversight, hiring, development and performance of the firm’s fixed income and commodities portfolio managers and business. Earlier, John spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan in numerous trading, trading management and business head roles covering fixed income, FX trading and commodities. Most recently he was co-head of the global commodities business and CEO of J.P. Morgan Ventures Energy Corp. He began his financial career as fixed income derivatives trader.
